Pet Resort Boarding

Cedar County Veterinary Services has recently expanded to offer the best in small animal boarding services. All boarding animals are housed in climate controlled compartments and are monitored closely by our doctors and staff throughout the day. To assure your pets' health and safety while visiting with us, each boarding animal is seen by a Doctor or Veterinary Technician on a one on one basis each day, to ensure that your pets receive the best care available

We will happily administer any medications, supplements or vitamins as requested while your pet is boarding with us.

If your pet has any special needs, please notify the Receptionist or Boarding Director when delivering or scheduling your pet. So any special needs can be addressed throughout your pets' stay. We feed all of our boarding patients Hill's Science Diet. Special diets and Prescription diets can be provided upon request. If your pet normally eats food other than Hill's Science or Prescription Diet, we encourage you to bring that food in with your pet.

Canine Boarding

Also expanded was our canine boarding services.  We are happy to say we have a couple different options for our canine boarders.

The first place our canine friend can stay is in our standard boarding kennels that measure six foot by three foot. Each dog has an automatic water and an elevated bed to relax on. We also added six luxury boarding suites. Each suite gives the dog a home like feeling during his stay. These rooms are five by seven foot and allow total privacy from your boarding neighbor. Don't forget to tell us what suite you want. Each suite has its own exotic theme with a bed and pillow.

And to ensure you that your dog gets plenty of exercise during his/her stay all dogs are walked a minimum of three times a day, and have the option to enjoy our indoor play area, along with our outdoor play area that has a pool and toys to pass the time. All dogs that are in our indoor/outdoor play areas will be supervised by a staff member of CCVS.

Feline Boarding

All cats are housed in a separate area of the hospital to offer seclusion and minimize stress. We offer two types of boarding compartments for our feline patients. One is a roomy kennel in which your pet can relax while visiting with us. The other is a Kitty Condo that comes equipped with elevated shelves on which your cat can rest or play. Also newly added is a cat play room, which allows your cat/kitten to get its daily exercise it needs or just extra room to lounge. All boarding cats are rotated throughout the play room daily.
