Embryo Transfer
Embryo transfer is a wonderful asset for purebred breeders to utilize their best animals as well as a great way for all producers to introduce new genetics or improve those they currently have.
Bull Semen Evaluation
Bull Semen testing is an integral part of the cow/calf operation. If your bulls aren't fertile, economic disaster can ensue. Checking semen quality and quantity as well as screening for some infectious diseases can be done on the farm or at our haul-in facility.
Carcass Ultrasound
We also offer feedlot carcass ultrasound technology. Carcass ultrasound is a tool producers can use to estimate carcass grade of their product. Producers are then able to market their cattle on the grid with confidence.
Herd Health
To obtain our goal of focusing on disease prevention rather than treatment, we have established complete health programs for feedlot cattle, cow/calf herds, and dairy operations. These programs can be altered to the individual producer's needs and include vaccinations, parasite control, necessary surgeries and other procedures.
Johne's Testing
Dr. Ben has recently become a Nebraska Johne's Disease Program Certified Veterinarian. Johne's disease is possibly related to Crohn's disease in humans. Currently the state of Nebraska is funding tests in dairy and beef herds. Talk to Dr. Ben if you would like to know more about the disease and how to eliminate it from your herd.
