Docs Ben and Erin
Drs. Ben and Erin met in 2001 while attending graduate school at Kansas State University. A whirlwind romance ensued, and after graduation the happy couple moved to Hartington, Nebraska to work at Cedar County Veterinary Services with Ben’s father, Dr. John Schroeder. The two later assumed ownership of the business and dedicate their days to caring for animals and relaxing with their sons Charlie and Chase.
In addition to caring for animals, the couple shares a passion for renovation. Together they’ve brought various historic buildings back to life in Hartington’s historic downtown district including The Globe, a 1901 clothier and the historic Hotel Hartington. They are currently working on other historic buildings in Northeast Nebraska. Docs Ben and Erin are also the stars of Nat Geo WILD's "Heartland Docs, DVM". |
